It's here!!!!
Finally. lol. Seriously the suspense has been killing me, but it's finally here. City of Glass, the last installment of the Mortal Instruments series, has been released. In my own humble opinion it was fantastic. I've been disappointed by so many series that have ended without tying up loose end, or tying them up in a way that didn't make sense. City of Glass however did neither of these. It ended the story in a way that still left me wanting more, but not needing more. I wanted more because, well, I've fallen so in love with the characters and I want to know what happened after. Do jace and clary get married? Do Simon and Isabelle end up together? What happens with Alec and Magnus? And what is next for the clave? Can they recover? But I didn't really need more because everything I've been desperately pining to know was revealed in the book. Were there a couple thing that were predictable? I suppose, but that can be said for most books, especially if you re-read the first two in the series more than a few times. So my overall review? Fantastic. Two thumbs way up. Go out and buy City of Glass, what are you waiting for?

Merry Christmas, excuse me while I fall over...
I'm done! Done done done! Well, for the moment at least. A website is never really actually finished in the final sense, it's just ready for show. lol. Between the crazy rush that is my life, work, and christmas I managed to get my entry for the contest done - which is all you see before you. Yup the City of Glass website and RP forum. Honestly I'm pretty excited. XD After a month of coding on my laptop, my computer, my phone, pretty much on everything I could, it's finished. *big sigh* If you have an idea of what I could add to make the site better drop me an email at kitty@thecityofglass.com

So go over, look around, make yourself a character, and get yourself into the fun. It's a great way to practice your writing skill or just stretch you imagination. Besides, come on, who doesn't have a little bit of them that secretly wants to be a shadowhunter?

We have better things to countdown to than christmas...
My lovely little countdown timer just hit 99 days and quite frankly I can't be more excited. And while sadly there is no december cookie for all of us patiently, or not so patiently, awaiting City of Glass - there is something maybe even a little better. Cassandra Clare is graciously offering a contest on her live journal for the month of December, and for all those who haven't yet head the prize is and Advanced Reader Copy of City of Glass. Yes, you heard me, all those Shadowhunter fans out there that are chomping at the bit for the next book might be able to get their hands on a copy with a little bit of effort and a dash of creativity. There are four ways to enter but you don't need to hear me babble on about that, just head over to Cassandra's livejournal and check it out for yourself.
